Column chromatography

A lab report must include the following format:
i) Title and date;
ii) Aim, this is usually very short (one or two sentences) and gives the reader an idea of the purpose
of the lab;
iii) Theory, relevant equations and mechanisms if any and the general theory behind the lab is
presented here;
iv) Materials, list all the reagents, amounts, and equipment necessary for the experiment;
v) Method, here you must write exactly what was done. This must be in the past tense, in the
third person, and detailed enough so that someone who knows nothing about the lab can follow
the description that you have given and be able to repeat the experiment. Please do not itemize
the method(s) employed.
vi) Results, here you will do your calculations, report any observations etc.
vii) Conclusion, this is also very brief and must tie-in with your aim.

Please take a look at the attach ” column chromatography links ” to be able to do material, procedure, etc.
Please have a robust theory, method and conclussion in the laboratory report thank you.
