The following should assist you in gathering notes for your paper. This is not an exhaustive list, so be
creative and organize the paper how you like.
• In order to complete this assignment, you must conduct a search for all of the resources available on that
particular serial killer including books, journal articles, websites, FBI investigations, videos, etc.
• Be sure to identify and explain those factors that contributed to this killer’s behavior to include
geographic mobility, victimology and M.O/signature.
• What biological, psychological, and/or sociological theories as discussed in class best fits the killer and
why?
• What classification would the serial killer be considered based on the typologies discussed in class?
• Be sure to address any inaccuracies contained in the literature.
• Based on your research, where is the serial killer now (e.g., in prison, dead, living on a tropical island,
etc.) and/or what happened to him or her?
• Don’t forget to reveal the identity of your killer and why
