For this assignment, I would like you to write a 3 to 6 page paper (not including title and reference page).
Step 1:Select one of the following topics to write about:
The impact of depression on college students
The impact of anxiety on college students
Mental health disorders that may impact a college student’s success
You can consider other psychological factors that may prevent a student from succeeding and persisting on to graduating from college and come up with your own topic, but you must get permission from me first
Step 2: Find and read a few journal articles that talk about your chosen topic.
Step 3: Create an outline that you will follow for your topic (See my provided example)

What percentage of first-year college students are traditional (18 to 24 years old), nontraditional (began the first year of college after the age of 24 or perhaps they are married and/have children), and how many are first-generation college students. You can discuss how each might relate to academic success, as outlined in the literature.

Your paper must include at least six sources. These sources should consist of at least two government sites where you will find statistics. At least three other sources should be from empirical journal articles. The final source could be from a newspaper or internet source.
Your paper should be typewritten in APA format with a title and reference page. Avoid plagiarism and ensure that you use proper in-text citations giving credit to your sources and that you also paraphrase and summarize correctly. I will submit your paper to a plagiarism checker (URKUND).
Your sources should not be older than 2016 (In other words do not use sources from 2015 or before).
