The final project for this course is the creation of a decision-making and principles of management research paper and it is with 25% of your grade. You must choose one of the companies from the list below to complete your project. Thoroughly study the issue(s) that the company is facing, research potential solutions, and use the rational decision-making process to decide what should be done. Your paper should be in APA format, a minimum of 5 pages, and include at least 3 sources in addition to the sources listed below.
Your paper should consist of the following sections:
Company Overview – Provide a brief overview of the company.
Problem – Thoroughly discuss the problem(s) the company has faced. What lead to the problem(s)?
Communication: Explain how communication has played a part in the organization’s problem(s). Discuss the specific communication barriers that you believe existed within the organization. Provide examples.
Decision-Making: Discuss specific decisions that lead to problem(s) faced by the company. Discuss the decision-making barriers that you believe existed within the organization. Provide examples.
Organization Culture & Employee Perception: Discuss how management has impacted the organization’s culture and the employee’s perception of the company.
Recommendations for improvement- For this section, you will make recommendations for improvement.
• Discuss your recommendations for improvement to reduce the likelihood that the problem/situation would occur again. What would you have done differently? Using the decision-making steps, thoroughly discuss 3- 5 potential solutions to the problem(s).
•Describe how implementing the fundamental principles of management (the P-O-L-C framework) will help to improve the management process within the company.
