below is the criteria i was given for the paper.
It is a minimum of a two- three-page par (approximately 500-750 words) with a works cited page with a minimum of two sources. NOTE: You can do your works cited page before you do the final essay exam and you can either copy and paste it onto the space below following your essay. Please make sure you find at least one article the supports the opposing side, so you are prepared how to handle the other side. once you established your topic and decide which side of the motion you will argue for (pro, con, or neutral), you will find two articles on your topic from Google
Third, start doing more research and review the recommended outline below that might help you develop and organize your debate paper. Please make sure you are not in an echo chamber that Sean Blanda talks about in “The ‘Other Side’ Is Not Dumb.” That is, you do not need to agree with the other side, but you need to acknowledge and address their concerns. This is critical that you do not lecture your reader; instead you want to foster a dialogue
