This assingment is called an innovative solution assingment. This assingment is for my mental health and addictions class. I will provide you with the outline completed containing my innovative solution, my innovative solution is why it should be mandatory for colleges and universities to have training and workshops regarding mental illnesses and the struggles students face. You
must write about why mandating mental health workshops and certification in colleges would be beneficial to college students with depression and other mental illness and the stigma they face.
At this stage of the assignment, you will develop your outline into a 5 – 7 page paper, double spaced using 12 point font.
It is expected that the paper will address all of the components required and will reflect the standards for college level writing.
You will also develop a PowerPoint presentation based upon your innovative solution
Each presentation should include the following components:
a. The problem you are trying to address
b. The design thinking steps you took to develop the project
c. A demonstration of your project as appropriate (video, PPT, panel discussion, brochure, handout, poster etc.)
d. Steps to take toward implementation/Plans for implementation
As part of the total grade for this project, each project will be graded for its innovative approach, i.e., the extent to which the
project meets the criteria for an innovation (e.g. novel, new, has not already been done, or adds something new to a solution that has already been done). It is essential that you conduct a search for other projects that may be similar to your project and that you can describe how your project provides an innovative solution.
