Background. Personality refers to an individual’s unique characteristics, behaviors, thoughts, and feelings. Research indicates that genetics, abuse, other life experiences and factors contribute to the development of personality disorders and psychopathy.
Your goal. There are two parts to this assignment and each part must be answered thoroughly. The total assignment should be 10 – 12 pages in length (excluding the cover page and reference page).
Part One: Using the psychoanalytic, humanistic, trait, neoanalytic, self-theory, or social cognitive theory, apply it to the life of a serial killer, famous person (celebrity) or yourself. Explain how the theory applies or could apply to the individual’s life. At least two theories must be selected and applied. Compare/contrast the theories and the application to the individual/individual’s life.
Part Two: For the two theories you selected above in part one, explain the theories relevance to/the consideration of culture and diversity, if at all. Explain your rationale.
