Your Inner Fish essay.
The recommended text, Your Inner Fish (YIF), is meant to provide you with a big-picture perspective for the course. Under the assumption you have read the entire book, specific chapters will be referenced throughout the semester as they relate to the material discussed in class. Optional: Students will have the opportunity to write a 1 page (single-spaced, 12pt Times New Roman font) essay on how the text, Your Inner Fish, aided your understanding and appreciation of the course material. Up to 10 additional points will add to the total course points at the end of the semester. For full credit, students must provide a well-written (e.g. grammatically correct) and insightful essay on the incorporation of this text in the course. If it helped you, tell me how. If you thought it wasn’t helpful, tell me why. Essays that are less than 1 page, poorly written, and not insightful will receive only partial to no credit.
The course in question is Zoology and we look at the different animal phylum and see how each phylum develops off each other and the book is basically talking about how the story of the guy who discovered the fish fossil that made the transition to land and all that details. So if you could relate those two pretty well while adhering to the instructions above that would be awesome. I’ll give you some PowerPoints from each of our units to aid the process.
