Initial Post In Chapter 8, you were introduced to varying elements that inform the style of a speaker’s presentation. For this post, you will share with the class three of these styles you plan on implementing during your informative speech.
Choose a minimum of three of the following styles from the textbook that you will be implementing during your PowerPoint presentation:
Lively speech
Respectful language
Repetition
Contrast
Metaphor
Metonymy
Hyperbole
Litotes
Personification
Introduce your three sections with an introductory sentence.
Use the name of each style as the heading for the paragraph you will write. There should be a total of three sections in this post with headings. Include the following for each style:
Explain to the class which styles you will be using.
Identify where you will use it in your speech.
Explain why you chose to incorporate that element you have selected.
Conclude this post with a reference section.
Use your textbook and an outside source to help better explain your chosen style elements.
