What do you still not understand about the hashtag that you need to know?

Now it’s time to conduct your academic literature review. An academic literature review will allow you to go back and find research on the issues, controversies, and debates around your hashtag that arose in your data visualizations and media review, and allow you to understand them even further through academic research.
You will write your Academic Literature Review in a Word .doc and upload it as an attachment to this assignment.
You’ll need to locate, read, and annotate five academic articles related to your research topic to write an annotated bibliography + reflection. As you select your academic articles, actually take the time and effort to be selective, i.e. don’t just pick the first reading that comes along! Rather than draw on books or book chapters as you did in high school, it’s time to start using academic articles to gather more current and cutting-edge insights. One of the most useful and popular academic article databases that contains the work of thousands of journals is JSTOR (Links to an external site.)..
An annotated bibliography describes the key argument of the author, the methods they draw on, and the interesting findings or points that the author supplies regarding your own research interests. Provide the full citation in Harvard, Chicago, or MLA format. Then, write one long paragraph or two medium-length paragraphs summarizing the article (about 200-250 words per citation). Then provide the next citation, and the detailed summary of the article, and so on.
In conclusion, write 500-750 words as a reflection describing how your findings from the academic literature have reshaped your understanding about the hashtag/topic are researching. Reply to the following questions and add other thoughts you want to share or questions you still wonder at:
· How that you have completed this media and academic research, what form of research gave you more insight and why?
· What do you still not understand about the hashtag that you need to know?
· How do these academic arguments shape your plans for your final dataviz? In other words, which two or three types of dataviz/graphs will you focus on and why? (For example, you could pair the text word cloud and the tweet by day bar graph, or you could use the text word cloud, bar graph of trending text topics, and the Google Map of tweet locations.)
