Cross Cultural Interview

You will conduct an interview with someone from a different background than yours (i.e. racial, ethnic,
gender/sexual orientation, religious, or immigration status) and prepare an essay (3 pages double
spaced) where you summarize the themes, values, and experiences discussed during the interview. This
will be similar to the film review where you will discuss what you learned about diversity and your
reactions to the information this person shared with you. You will also provide 1-2 pages (single
spaced) listing your interview questions and their answers.

So the person I want you write question and essay about to do is Clara she is an ecuadorian who comes from a agricultural this type of people in her days cant afford to go to school. She went to school until 7grade with is consider the end of middle school. In her days always use to be. she lives in this country for 7 years . She is catholic
machismo, discrimination and lack of education considered to women as weak her she is the first of 8 brothers and sisters she is the first in the family to come to the united states she came to the united states when her daughter died of heart disease. She did not have a family in this country, only her husband who he follow the old fashion way that he was raised , who had been married 25 years before, had written very badly, was jealous of him, could not put on attractive or brand clothes, did not let him go anywhere, kept her locked up, she had to walk as if she were an old lady. But as the years went by, he realized that she was getting sick and it changed her life completely. He dedicated himself to her. He let her do what she said.
