Essay Questions: Write the Essay in your Word Format then Copy and paste into the Discussion Forum.

Have you ever heard of someone (or yourself) acting in a way that was out of character? Could science be used to explain what might be going on? What is the relationship between what is happening in a person’s brain and their behavior? How can the field of psychology help with this?
Brain and Behavior: Use 2 Articles to support your claims.

Can biological explanations truly be used to justify abnormal or criminal behavior? Is there evidence in the literature (2 articles from library) that give examples or explain this in more detail? What are two ethical implications when making decisions about a person who has clearly committed a crime, when the science provides evidence to suggest
that they were unable to make sound judgments?
What question would you ask about human beings that could be potentially be traced back to our biology or brain? What is your argument for trying to related this to our brain or biology.

Heres what I wrote in reply to discussion form.

I remember 6 years ago when I used to live in village with my family. The name of my village is Odhan. There was a person who was older than me at that time he was approximately 23 years old. His name is arsh khokhar and he had a great personality and was very kind. Everyone in the village liked him but one day he did a horrible thing.he beat up a child of nearly 8 years old. Everyone was surprised at his behaviour and when the
childs father asked him why he did he beat the child. In response he said he couldnt control himself from doing that as he reacted the way he felt. He said he has no personal issue with the child but he just felt like beating him up. There any be many reasons behind what Arsh did. And we can understand that with the help of science as there are fields of science such as psychology which helps to understand brain. The brain receives
information and internal and external influences that enables the most appropriate behaviours to be triggered at any time. In addition our behaviour has environmental consequences which can be experienced as positive or negative for us.

CRITICAL THINKING and College Level Writing Expectations
Critical Thinking: Critical thinking involves the mental process of observation, analysis, and evaluation. Critical thinking typically involves an objective observation,
followed by an analysis of the event, which ties in class material and scholarly sources to these observations. In Social Psychology it is important to apply the multi-dimensional approach to analysis of social psychological issues.
A Well-Constructed Cohesive Argument: Your essay must have a clearly identifiable thesis statement with an argument that holds through
the essay.

Use correct punctuation
Use proper grammar
Address the appropriate audience for the assignment
Write in an appropriate voice (Ask yourself: Is the I voice okay for the assignment? Should it be geared towards a more formal audience?)
It is essential for the writer to display
critical thinking, as well as the ability to tie in class material and outside scholarly (or primary) sources to the piece. You need to provide the opposing argument to be discussed, and why this argument could be both valid and wrong. Your writing must provide evidence that you understand the material, are able to reflect upon it in a way that demonstrates this understanding, and can create an argument supporting a thesis.

Here are two articles that I have chosen.
