Public Administrator Profile

Context
At a minimum, social equity suggests the fair delivery of public goods and services. This concept has a long, incremental, and sometimes undistinguished history, which is still evolving in the 21st century. This represents a substantial challenge for administrators implementing public policy when Federal, State, and Local governmental largess has sometimes become part of colossal-venomous political trench wars wherein issues of protracted racism, equal opportunity, and a host of other elements confound any semblance of addressing these factors.
Directions
Identify a public administrator who embraces and inspires these values (executive, managerial, or street-bureaucrat levels are acceptable). Social equity is the focal point of this module. Be sure to reflect on the history of social equity, and consider these principles in our current political climate.
