The Initial order was great, however a stronger thesis is needed than overal reformation in England. Please focus on Henry VIII moving from Catherine of Aragon Catholic Church to Anne Boleyn and Protestant England. What was the relationship between the two houses and what made Henry take this drastic measure. (more in depth than just wanting a son) I provided the initial paper please refer to the instructions below.
Format
The essay must include a title page (again, follow current Turabian format). This will
include: name, date, course name, and title of paper.
Margins must be set at 1 inch.
Page numbers must be included.
4-5 pages in length.
Text should be double-spaced and written in 12-point, a legible and appropriate font for a
research paper (nothing fancy or distracting).
Working Thesis
This thesis should have built off of your original idea and question. (Henry VIII moving from Catholism to Protestanism) This means that your thesis should be in a state of flux, but it is a “working” thesis in that it is
directing your study and research.
It should encompass and consider the new sources and research you have
uncovered.
It should be your own work, original and purposeful.
The thesis may have changed a bit from the original idea, though if it has altered
significantly you will have to justify why you have changed direction in your
research. Tell me what has made it hard to follow your original idea? Are you
abandoning your original idea completely or are you still considering aspects of
it? Provide analysis of where you see this thesis taking you in your research.
The thesis must be approved from this point forward, so remain in contact with
the professor to ensure that there is no miscommunication about where your thesis
is going.
Include numbered “points of discussion” (or sub-points to your thesis) and ensure
that they are in a working order for what could form your research paper outline.
This outline should eventually form the skeleton of your research paper.
Annotated Bibliography
Sources: There must be an adequate number of sources, both primary and secondary; the
sources must be used to defend the thesis of the paper. Good sources are the basis for

good research. As a rule of thumb, a research paper of this length would likely have 15+
primary and 20+ secondary sources (monographs and scholarly journal articles).
However, at this juncture you are only required to have about half of that (7-10 sources of
each type).
Separate your primary and secondary sources into two different categories. You should
have seven or more primary sources by this point and about just as many secondary
sources.
It should be annotated, which means that you should explain how you plan to use each
source listed (both primary and secondary) in a couple sentences. Explain the strengths of
each source and its weaknesses (ex. what it lacks, or if it only looks at the economic
aspects of your topic). Give an indication of whether or not it will be used extensively
throughout the paper or only in a specific section. All this is done in a short paragraph
(about three sentences) per source.
