Salaries for sports stars in male professional sports continue to grow. Salaries for professional athletes in female sports, however, continue to be a fraction of what it is in their male counterparts’ industry. Even the most opinionated person who tilts toward increased salaries for women understands the reasons why, even if it isn’t something that we as a society want to hear.
