Economic Health Semester Project

This is a final paper for the semester-long class. The class name is EC 387, Introduction to health economics.
This paper’s goal is to write an academic paper on How we can reduce the number of Mass Killings or Mass shootings in the United States by regulating Gun sales, in particular, semi-auto guns or machine guns. It’s not just the regulation, but more like how many lifes can we save if we banned guns or mass killing guns in the United States.
Use marijuana as an introduction, and then lead the article into gun policies.
Questions like:’How can we study the gun regulation like recreational marijuana.'(For the introduction, you need to focus on Tax, like the tax on recreational marijuana, how high is the sales tax for recreational marijuana, (Massachusetts is 20% sales tax.)) ‘How many registered licensed gun retailers are there in the states, and what is the market composition for the United States.’ ‘How many people owning mass killing guns are registered.’ ‘And what regulation can we put on the gun sales so that we can reduce the number of mass killings in the United States.’ These questions need to be answered in this paper.
There’s no way that guns should be taxed less than other things in life in the United States, but this is the real fact. Show some statistics and talk about how we should regulation gun purchases, how should we tax guns, and how should we change the gun registration process so that we can make sure for these weapons, even reselling the gun is under the monitor.
I’ve attached the course powerpoints for you to have a general idea of what the professor taught in class, and make sure you read the PowerPoint first and then write the paper.
