male gaze, heteronormative

The format for your adapted paper should be as follows:
1. Introductory paragraph (including a thesis statement)
2. Body paragraphs (number will vary) in which you use evidence from the course readings to support your thesis statement
3. Conclusion paragraph, in which you some up your essay.
A few other things to keep in mind as you adapt your Media Analysis into your Term Paper: -While you may use elements from your “initial impression” in your body paragraphs, this should no longer be its own section of the essay.
-You may draw on details from your reflexivity statement in your conclusion, but this should no longer be the focus of your conclusion.
-You need to use formal citations. MLA is recommended but I will also accept Chicago, APA, or other recognized academic styles.
– You should also address feedback you received on your first assignment.
Thesis Statement:
If you are choosing this option the first thin you should consider is your thesis statement. A thesis statement argues something specific that you’ve observed in your analysis. This needs to be explicitly stated in your introductory paragraph. The readings you cite should support this thesis.
