Advocates of transgender rights have sought laws permitting a person to use a restroom that is consistent with the sex and/or gender with which he/she identifies. One national store change jumped on board with supporting this movement by making restroom signs titled We Don’t Care, meaning that any person was free to use that restroom. Opponents of transgender persons using the restroom of their choice have argued that this right could then be applied to locker rooms, consequently subjecting children to viewing nude bodies of the opposite sex.
