Locate additional articles, including popular press material that may help with the opening paragraph of your Introduction.

The present study examined factors that may influence DV among students at Mt. San Jacinto College, which is a community college located in the southern part of Riverside County, California.

Based on the research of Smith and Jones (2020), it was expected that there would/would not be a main effect of Factor A on DV. Specifically, it was expected that individuals from Condition A1 would have higher or lower scores in the DV than those in Condition A2.
