Manuscript Format
All Assignments should follow the following guidelines: 1. Heading. In upper left corner:
Name
Engl 1110-Section # or Engl 900-______ or Engl 1111-______ Prof. M Rosa Assignment Name Paper Topic # (if applicable) Date Due
(Peer Review Copy) or (Final Revision) if applicable 2. Margins. Leave a one-inch margin at the top, bottom, and both sides of each page.
3. Spacing. All assignments must be double-spaced between lines. Do not add extra line spaces
between paragraphs. 4. Page Numbers. Include your last name and the page number on each page in the upper right
hand corner. (See above on this page) The easiest way to do this in MS Word is to select the
following: Insert
Page Number
Top of Page
Accent Bar 2 (or whichever one it shows appearing flush right at the top.
You may have to Close “Headers & Footers” to get back to your working document
5. Number Questions. For Daily Discussion Question Assignments, number each question response.
