Do not consult or integrate any outside source(s) into your written assignments during the the process of brainstorming, drafting, and submitting writing. I want everyone to consult only the textbook and any other source (video or otherwise) to which I have linked in our course site. In essence, I want to see only what YOUR ideas are in relationship to the assigned readings from our textbook. This means do not consult or integrate any internet or print (or whatever) sources into your writing. Since I am enacting this measure, you do not need to include a Works Cited at the end of your writing, as I will know your only source is our book. Do include the page numbers from the textbook within parentheses for any information from the textbook which you integrate into your writing. You should be using some apt, succinct quotes from the readings in the book to exemplify and illustrate your points. Be sure to fully explain any cited information making clear, overt connections to the point your are trying to make before moving on from the quoted material.

Thoroughly examine how Hawthorne’s short story is an exemplification of Aristotelian Virtue Ethics. Remember to aptly integrate at least two other readings from the chapter into your submission.
