Write a paper on “What Critics Don’t Understand About Gun Culture” in the Norton Reader, pgs. 893-896.
For this paper, I want you to find as many places as you can where Emma Gonzalez and David French have common ground. The two arguments are very similar and are both arguing from personal experience. Point out at least three similarities in the arguments as places that you could begin negotiation between the authors regarding gun control.
The most difficult thing about this paper will be removing your personal opinion from the paper. You are not telling me what you think or believe, only where these two authors agree or disagree and how that could be used to reconcile them. You may use other sources if you wish to emphasize the similarities.
