You will write up a case study/position paper of contemporary trafficking (since the year 2000) in guns or drugs or humans. Your case will be based on a particular country or a region of the world. Your analysis should consider the case from
historical,
economic,
criminological,
legal, and
international relations perspectives.
Your conclusion should offer your recommendations for policies to solve this real world problem, and explain why you think your policy recommendations have the best chance of success based on historical examples or previous experience.
Access scholarly journals from library databases (for example: jstor.org and Project Muse) and GoogleScholar (googlescholar.com). For this assignment, you will need to find and use a minimum of six scholarly sources from at least one of those electronic databases. Remember that choosing appropriate sources requires that you evaluate those sources based on the criteria for scholarly work.
