What data are analyzed and what problems might they face?

Your task is to evaluate a policy proposal or research report in any area you’d like. You can pick anything published by an organization like a think tank or research institute, non-profit or advocacy group, or government agency. You can select any type of policy or report you’d like, but this assignment will be easier if there is a specific intervention proposed, evaluated, or discussed. Using the different units we’ve covered this semester, evaluate the policy proposal. In doing so it may be helpful to think about the following questions associated with the different course topics. What is the research question and what hypotheses are proposed? How are the concepts
operationalized and is evidence presented that these are good measures? What research design(s) are used and how well do they let us test the hypotheses proposed? What data are analyzed and what problems might they face? What techniques does it use to describe and analyze the data? Do the conclusions follow from the analyses and research design? What limits might exist here due to research design validity and what do we still not know about the research question?
