Analyzing a Primary Source:
ESSAY
Introduction, over the last several Months, since our Hist.1302 Course
commenced, we have been introduced, explored, learned, and reflected on
several Historical Themes/Events from our Past. From the Period of
Reconstruction, after the Civil War, 1865 to the Present.
Instructions: Closely look and analyze this simple photo taken here in the
Southwest, and respond to the following questions:
Using this Primary Source (Southwest Photo) provided by your
instructor, write a minimum one-page essay that identifies the
possible author, the authors intention, the source’s intended
audience, and 2 aspects of the cour se historical themes (as an
example, Progressivism) that contributes to our understanding of the past
that you find within the photo.
Please make sure your response is one page minimum essay- 12’ Times Roman Font, and single space.
