Please read the section 16.7 on Eugenics in the textbook. In general, eugenics is the control of individual human reproduction for societal goals, maximizing the genetic contribution of those deemed acceptable (positive eugenics) and minimizing the contribution from those considered unacceptable (negative eugenics).
