Genre

Now its your turn to write in other genres. Your first assignment is to write in one of the genres we examined in the closer look video:
A play
A graphic narrative
A translation
(Take note: You only have to choose ONE of these. Not all three.)
Do you know another language? Find a poem or a short story to translate, but keep in mind that you must be fairly fluent to translate a piece of writing. DO NOT COPY AND PASTE A TRANSLATION OF A PIECE; I’M PRETTY SAAVY AND CAN EASILY TELL IF YOU ARE SIMPLY DOING THAT. Are you an artist? Draw/write a comic (and scan the drawing as a PDF to turn it in). Are you neither an artist nor a polyglot? Write a play.
This is a short assignment: 1-2 pages.
