Review the following readings and take careful notes:
Thompson, Introducing Catholic Social Thought
Jakobsen and Pellegrini, Love the SIn
Gudorf, “To Make a Seamless Garment, Use a Single Piece of Cloth”
Reflect on how all three sources imagine the ideal relationship between religion and politics. How does sexuality play a role in each of their proposals? What are the points of overlap and tension between these positions? Identify the greatest point of tension and attempt to resolve it.

Make a document on Word or on physical paper: Make three columns:

Take notes from the three sources (Thompson, Jakobsen/Pellegrini, Gudorf) and note what each has to say in each of those columns.
After you’ve looked at your chart for a bit, see what ideas come up and how you can tie those ideas together.
Your draft should be about five pages. Do not include pre-writing in your draft. In your final paper, you will have an opportunity to reflect on your position and integrate it. For now, focus on analyzing the logic of other views.
FINAL DRAFT
Use the feedback I have provided you on your draft to revise your paper. Your final paper only needs to be 5 pages, but you can write more if you want.
