SUBJECT: International Development and Globalization
Critical analyses on Canadas Global environmental protection (Canada’s international actions for climate change, polar issues and conservation)
You will have to offer an original analysis of a topic covered in the course and make connections with current affairs (a specific event, a trend, an international current phenomenon, etc.). You will need to use historical, economic, political, social, or other data to support your analysis. These will allow you to have a critical judgment on the subject.
Your critical analysis of each of the themes should therefore:
Break down the theme by identifying the constituent elements (theme, issue, concepts);
Highlight the relationships between the different components;
To criticize, that is to say to pass judgment on the associated concepts by appealing to external elements (from other authors);
Present these elements in an orderly and coherent manner (with a common thread) following the standards of all writing (introduction, development and conclusion)
Add a bibliography (in addition to the five pages of text) which justifies the research carried out and ensure that your words and your sources are properly referenced.
The correction criteria are: understanding of the topic, originality and credibility of the analysis, capacity for synthesis and argumentation, references to authors and the quality of the language as well as of the presentation.
