Your paper is a comprehensive essay on the influences of human behavior and their impact on clothing. You must select a culture, race, religion, pop culture, or another topic where the patterns of human behavior are reflected in that groups clothing/accessory.
The selection parameters are intentionally general, with the hope that you are able to think through the MANY ways we reflect our behaviors in our clothing. It is also an opportunity for you to describe/explain with clarity the various factors we have learned this semester.
You must then create an outline and submit for approval and guidance. Please see the Outline template below to use for your paper. Follow the example outline, choosing a minimum of 3 behaviors from your textbook (using the terminology from that chapter) to address your problem statement.
Tip: After using the behavior as the “support” (see blank template), then use the terminology used to define that behavior from the textbook as the “example”. A good rule of thumb is to cite two references per paragraph; and to make Problem Statement- 1/2-1 page; each “support” (behavior) at least 3 pages (including your examples; Summary/Conclusion – 1 page. You will easily get to the 10 pages this way.
Paper requirements:
10 pages. double-spaced, with bibliographic references (APA) and Table of Contents. Any images must be included as Figures at the end of the paper (not a part of the 10 pages.)
