Pick a person or an event that falls within the timeframe of the HIS 121 United States History I course (roughly 1490 – 1877). Give a brief description of how your show would deal with the topic at hand. If you are looking at a person, are you looking at their whole life or just a specific period of time? If you are looking at an event, are you going to put it into a larger historical context?
