Explain your process for creating the poster. Include a brief discussion of the two other social justice posters or works of artistic activism you use as inspiration and how they inspired your poster.

The social justice issue should be related to women issues.
Choose one social justice issue as the topic for your poster. (You can consider the issues we have discussed in class, as in Module 6, but you are not limited to those issues.) Create a poster to convey a message about that issue and complete a discussion paper (300 words max.) explaining your inspiration and design process of the poster.
For the poster:
Identify a social justice issue to use as your focus.
Define the message you want to send with your poster. (If you need help, look at the Center for Artistic Activism links under Modules 4-6: Review.)
Select at least two other social justice posters or works of artistic activism to use as inspiration. (You can use works discussed in class or works you find on your own.)
Create the poster. You can create a physical poster and submit a photo, or you can create a digital poster using Google Slides or another program you are comfortable with. (Note: You will be graded on the message, not your artistic execution!)
Submit the poster as a photo (.jpg or .png), as a PowerPoint file (.ppt) or as a PDF (.pdf).
For the discussion paper:
Explain your process for creating the poster. Include a brief discussion of the two other social justice posters or works of artistic activism you use as inspiration and how they inspired your poster. (Cite your sources properly!)
Explain the focus and the message of your poster. What do you want it to say? What affect (emotion) and effect (action) do you want it to inspire?
Submit the discussion as a Word document.
