Each student will write a 1000-1250 word paper, not including a bibliography, on a topic relevant to the course. The paper must be properly researched and documented with no less than 5 sources (court cases count as 1/2 a source), internet sources are permitted, but must be primary sources, peer-reviewed sources, or properly researched sources. Sources that are not permitted are opinion pieces, op-eds, and sites like Wikipedia.
