1) PULL UP the FIRST drafts of your previous essays; Essay #1 and Essay #2 that has my feedback and rubric.
2) READ the comments and rubric for each of the essays, paying attention to the writing skills you have improved, and the grammar and clarity issues that you have improved this quarter.
3) ANSWER these questions:
Looking at the essays you have turned in this quarter (so far), what writing skills have improved? Be specific by using the language of the rubric–ex. summarizing, quotation sandwich, giving a variety of rhetorical strategies, using personal experience to connect with the issue, MLA citations?
What skills do you want to really focus on for Essay #3, so you can improve them? Be specific using the language of the rubric.
What 1-2 grammar patterns do you need to check on before submitting Essay #3?
Organize the answers to these questions, so it is easy for the reader to read! That’s your responsibility.
