Write a short story 7-8 pages in length or 7-8 pages of poetry inspired by texts we read and concepts we discussed
in class but with your own twists. This creative writing option must be written with nature writing concepts and
themes in mind and infused within. As you have seen from the fiction and poetry examples we’ve read together in
the course, there are endless ways to approach nature writing. The creative writing you submit for this final
assignment must be new and original work written by you for specifically this course.
