Initial Post Coping with the grief of losing a loved one can be one of the most devastating and life-altering experiences of a person’s life. As a health care professional, you will witness and experience, first-hand, the loss that your patients and their families will have to learn to cope with. Based on the textbook and what current research suggests, how can your patient’s family use the dual-process model to cope with and make sense of the world?
