Write a paper that explores strategies and solutions that absolve racial inequalities. You are tasked to provide the multiple ways that folks resist and engage in social action based on the advocacy of Black Women’s health. This paper calls for independent research and therefore requires you to include academic and other reliable sources to support your case. Although you are creating an educational tool, make sure to add your creative spirit to the ways in which we as individuals, and at the group level, challenge systemic racism while simultaneously uplifting our collective racial consciousness and healing from past racial trauma and current violence.
The group that will be written about is the California Black Women’s Health Project, founded by Sonya Yong Aadam. I personally feel that advocating for our health is a movement, especially since Black women have a high mortality rate when it comes to childbirth.
It is possible to highlight the contributions of 1 person, to make it easier. You can of course talk about the movement as a whole, but adding the founder of the org, Ms. Aadam, will make it more manageable.
