Write a Reflection Paper on Harlem Community.

Once you complete your analysis of Google Maps and the Digital Harlem project,
you’re ready to write your paper. This paper should be a reflection on how your area
Harlem. How would you identify the space 100 years ago through your analysis of
Digital Harlem? How would you identify it now? What has changed? What has stayed
the same? In your paper, be sure to site specific examples from your observations.
Include addresses, details from Digital Harlem, and any other specifics you think
necessary to make a compelling argument for how you’re reading this particular space.
You may include pictures of specific buildings if you’d like.
Papers are required to be at least 800 words. In addition to describing this section of
Harlem, provide some interpretations of how an archaeologist might read the ongoing
change in this community. Think creatively about the themes we’ve discussed in class
and put them to use in how you decide to think about landscape and social change in
this historical New York City community.
