Describe the following:
How and where are they accessed? Current guidlines for the womens care center I am at can be found on all of the computers. It is a google drive document. Anyone with access to the computers can access it. There are also many resources and printed materials for reference.
What topics are covered in these policies and protocols? The clinic I am at follows the guidelines of the Academy of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Topics ranging from pregnancy, to pap, vaccine, screening is covered. They also have policies and protocols for procedures such as colposcopy.

Who is responsible for oversight of these documents?
The physician who oversees the office, each Nurse Practitioner that works in the office and the office manager are all responsible to oversee these policies and office procedures. Monthly meeting are scheduled and during those meetings these policies are reviewed.
Describe the process for policy and procedure development, review, and compliance.
Monthly meeting are held. In these meetings many guidelines are reviewed and if there has been changes nationally these changes will be discussed for implementation. If the office procedures need to be addressed it will be done at that time.
