Instructor will group participants into small groups of two to three. Each group will have their own Discussion to use for completing this assignment. Each group will be assigned a generation from the following categories:
Traditionalists 1921-1945
Baby Boomers 1946-1964
Generation X 1965-1980
Generation Y/Millennials 1981-1999
Generation Z 2000-present
Each group member should select one of the six (6) possible elements below to explore in relation to your groups assigned generation:
Technology
Teams and Groups
Coaching/Performance Feedback
Leadership
Change Management
Rewards
(ME AND MY PARTNER CHOSE TECHNOLOGY AND REWARDS)
Each group will:
Research the assigned generation regarding the selected dimensions/elements.
Respond to the following questions:
Explain how the assigned generation perceive or respond to the element in the workplace environment?
Provide rationale (and references as needed) to support your conclusion.
Identify one (1) recommendation for each element that could be used to improve the dialog and/or the receptiveness of the generation to the element.
As a group, create a presentation in MS PowerPoint that contains 1-2 slides per element in addition to the slides that reflect the groups responses to the questions above.
Each member of the group will submit a copy of the final presentation for grading by the end of Module.
