The text discusses the role that mass media plays in reinforcing and maintaining prejudice against people with mental health problems. Mass media includes news stories, television shows, movies, and radio. For this assignment you are to find a song and its lyrics. Analyze and discuss how they reinforce and maintain the prejudice against people with mental health problems. Examples of songs would be Addicted by Kelly Clarkson, Adam’s Song by Blink 182 or Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen.
