Sometime during this term make an appointment with an NLU librarian to discuss ways to gather research for your educational leadership project as well as any other questions you may have. NLU Librarians are research specialists. You can contact the NLU Library by emailing library@nl.edu or by filling out the Request an Appointment form on the library website.
After your appointment, submit a 200-300 word summary of your take-aways from the meeting and how you will foresee using the NLU Library in your work.

Librarians provide:
· Help with developing a research topic and identifying where to start looking for sources
· Searching research databases, web sites, and other sources, including developing effective key words and subject terms
· Organizing sources
· Evaluating and citing sources
Librarians provide this help through individual research consultations, emails, and online guides.
When we met last week we covered developing a research strategy and selecting/navigating databases. Evaluating, organizing, and citing sources we only touched on. This is an iterative process so reviewing every step is normal.
