ANSWER: My hypothesis: Are people from lower-income families more prone to commit crimes compared to those from middle/upper income families? My Question: Is socioeconomic status a contributory factor to crime? The paper will focus on crime rates occurring in New York City. My independent variable will be household income ( low, middle, and upper-income families). The dependant variables are crime rates, gender, and race.
4b. Definition of population. ANSWER: The population will focus on different income classes of families living in New York City Boroughs during the pandemic. This paper will determine if the crimes rate in NYC has increased or decreased during the pandemic.
4c. Sampling method and rational. ANSWER: There are several causes why crime must be measured. There are several causes for describing crime, demonstrating why crime occurs, and evaluating policies and programs. In addition, crime measurements are needed for risk assessment of various social groups, such as their potential for being criminals or victims. Therefore, my sampling method is to analyze the crime rate from families from low, middle, and upper social classes.
4d. Sampling method and statistical power issues while stating the proposed sample size to be used. ASWER The statistical power issue will not be evaluated in relation to the results and the selection of several large groups, which I am focusing on.
4e. Research design. ANSWER: To analyze the crime rate in New York City, I will conduct an experimental study and utilize correlational research methods.

ANSWER FOR 4F AND 4G: I will restate my hypothesis and utilize fundamental theories and information to analyze the data I collected. Overall, analyzing research findings accurately and appropriately is essential to ensuring data integrity.
