Write and submit a reflection paper no shorter than two (2) pages and no longer than three (3) pages, on the assigned reading and its application. The paper should be in 12-point type, double-spaced. First, you should clearly demonstrate your understanding of the information/concepts in the reading with citations to the content. A reference page in APA format is required. You should then apply that information/concepts to your answers to the prompts. Full credit will be given to papers that evidence a depth of thought and critical analysis, that specifically use what you’ve learned from the readings, and provide both case examples and innovative ideas on how to apply what you’ve learned.
Students are required to:
Respond to reflection paper prompts with headers/sub-headers
Provide 3 or more peer-reviewed article citations relevant to the reflection prompts
A reference page with the citations in APA format (not part of the 2-3 page requirement)
Please write a two- to three-page reflection paper that addresses the following questions and issues:
Consider (and cite) specific information/concepts from the required readings and apply the information to these prompts:
Describe the importance of mental health services for a client’s recovery.
Describe when, during the course of treatment, a client should or should not undertake to access these services.
Describe how to help a client access services within this system, including the barriers that may exist for particular clients and how to overcome those barriers.
Note at least one area in regards to these services that you plan to learn more about in order to help current or future clients.
The paper should be double-spaced, one-inch margins, in 12-point type, and saved as a Word document.
