Your thesis should say something about how the chemicals in the marijuana plant offer an evolutionary value both the plant and humans. For plants, it’s obvious: because it satisfies our desire to alter our subjective reality, we ensure its survival and actually improve its living conditions. For humans, the benefit is more complicated. You will also want to offer some ideas about WHY humans want/seek/desire to alter their consciousness. You will want to make sure that you look back at your working thesis while writing each section to check that you’re still on track.
