Explain why competitive market economies don’t have to fear the Malthusian blues?

1. Explain why competitive market economies don’t have to fear the Malthusian blues?
·
I
personally believe the reason why we do not have to fear this theory actually
happening is simply because the technology we have. I personally believe that
the reason why food is scarce in some places is because of policy and
leadership. I really believe we could solve world hunger if politics were not
involved.
2. What
are the three most effective policies a developing country can adopt in order
to decrease birth rates?
·
There
are three things to me personally that I saw when reading. The three things
that I personally see the most is education, opportunity, and welfare systems.
These are some of the topics that were given from the text. These can
potentially be effective in these aspects.
3. Are
birth control pills just another form of abortion?
·
This
can be a difficult conversation depending on who you are talking to. I have not
been in this position yet. There is no doubt that Christians would agree that
abortion is wrong. We must also have wisdom and understanding. My personal
conviction is that this has to depend on the family and the reasons for it. If
someone is using birth control but is not married and not sexually active I
don’t see how this could potentially be a bad thing. The problem is of course
with birth control, comes side effects.
4. How
should Christians be involved in sex education?
·
I
personally believe that Christians should be involved in as many things that
there is possible. If us Christians really believe that we have the truth and
know the truth why would we not want to spread it? Not only do I believe that
Jesus’s gospel saves us from hell, I
also believe that this gospel that he is provided is able to give us guidance
in any given situation.

1. Explain
why competitive market economies don’t have to fear the Malthusian blues?
·
Technology
is growing rapidly sometimes by the day. We want the new and best thing out
there that we can attain. But this just fuels the competitive market it doesn’t
decrease it. This makes us want more and buy more. Other companies keep this
competitive atmosphere because of the amount of technology they produce yearly,
monthly, weekly and even daily.
2. What
are the three most effective policies a developing country can adopt in order
to decrease birth rates?
·
I
would say the most important one is healthcare. Does not matter if you are an
adult or a child healthcare is an important policy everyone needs. Keeps you
healthy throughout all stages of life, childhood to adulthood. But also, the
ability to afford it. Healthcare needs to be affordable to everyone.
3. Are birth control pills another form abortion?
·
It
is a tough one it is a tool to prevent pregnancy. Because all of this is taking
place before a development of a child, I would say no it is not a form of
abortion. But I will say no matter what the circumstance is you have to be
careful no matter what.
4. How
should Christians be involved in sex education?
·
I
think the Christian faith should be more involved with sex education in the
reasons of why you should be careful. I understand it is against the faith to
have sex before marriage but give us a reason why we should be careful. Having
a child at such a young as is hard and is life changing. The faith should be
helping young people understand what sex is for not pleasure but to create life,
start a family.
