Assume you are an HR Specialist at a start-up company. The owner of the company has approached you to discuss the need to improve diversity in the organization. Section 2 Intangible Benefits of Diversity. In this section, identify the intangible benefits that the organization may experience by hiring employees with disabilities.
Section 3 Barriers for Individuals with Disabilities. In this section, identify the political, economic, social, physical, and/or environmental barriers people with disabilities face in obtaining employment. Explain how these barrier specifically impact those who are disabled and why these barriers are not reflective of the experiences of other minority groups (e.g., women, elderly, different races, etc.).
