Write a short story wherein your character must learn to forgive (or not) someone after a horrible episode. You will need to set the stage and let your reader know what has happened. Then you will need to step outside the obvious formula of “forgive and forget,” and work toward an insightful telling of the steps one must go through in order to set the event aside and continue to live.
