concept help us better understand the rise of hate during the pandemic
generally and anti-Asian hate more specifically? How might this concept
also allow understand critical race theory’s critique of the law?
Question 2:
What
are hate groups and what do they tend to believe? How do hate groups
express their ideologies in the language of hate and anger, and the
language of love and care? Why might these ideologies connect with
ordinary people?
Question 3:
What are some of the benefits and
draw backs of responding to hate and hate crime through criminal
punishments or restorative justice? How does social media and the
internet make hate easier to spread and potentially provide new
mechanisms to respond to it?
