In other words, to write this essay, you should connect the two texts around a specific theme, idea, issue, or argument that is raised in both texts (that theme or idea can be researched and introduced. What is important is that you make an argument about how the texts are connected. Making an argument means going below the surface, so you should not say that both texts deal with the issue of X; instead, say how they are connected.

Essay Requirements:

A minimum of six (6) double-spaced pages. 12-point Times New Roman (or similar), one-inch margins all around. Use MLA for all in-text citations and a Works Cited page. The Works Cited page does not count toward the page requirement. You will be using a minimum of FOUR (4) sources.
